Production begins by 4pm or earlier. Breaking news and feature reporters are needed for all days, especially Monday and Tuesday. Co-producers and substitute engineers needed for all days.

Health Writers airs alternate 2nd & 4th Thursdays 7:30-8pm, with weekly meetings, Mondays at 7pm at the station. Health Writers needs collective members to produce features and host call-in shows.
Readers (by appointment), 1-2 times/month, Sunday, 12-1pm; Wednesday, 7-8pm
News and features by and about women from a feminist perspective airing each Sunday from 11-11:30am. Application for new collective members are currently being accepted. A commitment of one year is required.
Critical, anti-imperialist coverage of world news and features; broadcast Sundays 5-6pm. Production takes place on the weekend. News writer/reader and feature producer tasks are rotated among collective members. An engineer and news writers/feature producers are needed.
Collective members are needed for on-air hosting and to engineer, interview guests, compile science news and produce features.
Production meetings, Tuesday, 7am at Willaby’s Café, 1351 Williamson St. Collective members are needed to do reporting, engineering, on-air hosting and producing.
Airs Thursday, 7-7:30pm, featuring poetry, fiction, and non-fiction from Wisconsin and beyond. Radio Lit needs 1-2 new volunteers to host one show every 4-6 weeks. All are welcome, but a Spanish-speaking host would be especially appreciated.
Weekday, daytime tasks working with local music promoters & record labels
Library Crew Fill-In Coordinator (Mentor on Wednesdays, Noon-4pm with current coordinator. Fill-in for 3-4 week stretches several times per year.)
Tuesdays 7-10pm Get on-air and production experience with a multi-disciplinary team incorporating musical knowledge and skills in research, script writing, music selection, voice-over, engineering and audio editing with computer software. (The Promos are especially in need of women to record voice overs!)
2-3 hour shifts at numerous events, particularly during the Summer, including farmers markets, neighborhood festivals, etc.
