The UW Guest Artist Series presents Third Coast Percussion.
Third Coast Percussion explores and expands the extraordinary sonic possibilities of the percussion repertoire through performances, teaching and the creation of new works. Founded in 2005, Third Coast Percussion has performed hundreds of concerts across the country, presents an annual concert season at home in Chicago, teaches musicians of all ages and experience levels, and has commissioned dozens of new works by composers including David T. Little, Marcos Balter, Ted Hearne, and Augusta Read Thomas. Third Coast Percussion is the Ensemble-in-Residence at the University of Notre Dame. Featuring Sean Connors, Robert Dillon, Peter Martin, and David Skidmore.
